BiofuelCircle Pvt Ltd was founded in June 2020. BiofuelCircle has built a first-of-its-kind digital platform that powers the biomass-based supply chain for sustainable green energy adoption, accelerating India’s green transition.
BiofuelCircle, through its digital platform, is creating an eco-system of bioenergy for establishing a reliable biomass supply chain of biofuels and bio-products. Its B2B E-commerce platform brings together industrial biofuel consumers and biomass processors, digitizing the supply chain end-to-end to bring transparency and predictability.

The rural supply network of biomass, on the other hand, is realized under BFC Supply’s Biomass Bank™. BFC Supply Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of BiofuelCircle Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Pune. Biomass Bank™ is at the heart of the biomass supply chain. It is a cloud-based local, participative ecosystem of agri-residue collection, transport and storage enabled through digitally connected local partners.
Operating across 10 Indian states, the company is serving 200+ industrial customers and 1200+ Biomass Suppliers, built a network of 35 rural biomass depots, and partnered with over 1,000 rural entrepreneurs, connecting a base of 100,000+ farmers.
The organization is a growing team of 350+ , headquartered in Pune and current operations spanning across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. BiofuelCircle aims to integrate one million farmers into its biofuel supply chain.
The organization is a growing team of 350+ , headquartered in Pune and current operations spanning across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Biomass Bank has been recognized as a Unique Green Energy Technology Model by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) and was conferred with Indian Green Energy Award 2023, supported by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Government of India (MNRE), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and Mission LiFE, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.
